Jordan Hernandez

& The Quintessentials

Jordan

Hernandez

It’s often said that there’s an old soul in all of us, unlocking talents we never knew existed. For 22-year-old Jordan Hernandez, this couldn’t be more true. A Hispanic, California-born, Georgia-raised vocalist, Jordan is a performer “out of time,” specializing in jazz from the big band era of the 1930s to the Las Vegas golden age of the 1960s.

Jordan’s musical journey began in Savannah, Georgia, where he first picked up the saxophone at age 10, playing in school bands. But it wasn’t until 16 that he discovered his true passion—his voice. Inspired by the legendary sounds of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, and Ella Fitzgerald, he immersed himself in the world of jazz, refining a style that feels both classic and fresh.

His first live performance at The Jazz Corner in Hilton Head Island, NC, left audiences in awe, but it was in 2022 at the Savannah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Gala where he made his mark, earning the “Young Hispanic Leader of the Year Award.”

Now, Jordan is setting his sights even higher. With his band, The Quintessentials, he is currently working on his first jazz cover album, a project that promises to showcase his rich baritone voice and deep connection to jazz’s golden era. With every performance, Jordan brings timeless music to a new generation, proving that true jazz never fades—it only evolves.
